How to usePropecia Finasteride is used to treat early-stage benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in BPH and male pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia) in men. Start treatment at least 6 months before you experience symptoms such as visible shrinkage, hair loss, growth progression and receding hairlines.
